Info for registered families - April 2024
We're excited for the 2024 season to begin! Read on for updates regarding this season.

The following information will be shared with all registered families via email in early April.

Hello Whitecaps families!

Thank you for registering for the 2024 season! Registration recently closed, and we are working on forming teams and finalizing schedules. With that in mind, we have a few updates and reminders to share.

Season startup
Rosters are in the process of being created, and you will be hearing from your coaches once that is complete. Part of the executive’s role is to ensure balance within the divisions where we have more than one team. Our rosters are not final until the end of June. During the beginning of the season, team rosters are subject to change, and players may be moved from one team to the other in order to ensure as much balance as possible.

Schedules for all divisions will be available in early to mid-May and will be available on the WBMBA website at https://wasagabeachbaseball.ca/Schedule/

  • Our 6U division (t-ball) will be playing on Thursday evenings beginning at 6 p.m. For the 8U to 13U divisions, all home games are played at the Wasaga Sports Park on Klondike.

  •  Addresses for away games are available at the link above. Coaches will provide you with your game and practice schedule once they are finalized.

  • All players are expected to provide their own glove, bat and helmet. Players in the 8U to 15U divisions must also have black athletic/baseball pants without zippers, etc. for games. If you require pants or gear for this season, keep reading for information on our upcoming equipment sale!

Bond hours
All families with players in the 8U to 15U divisions are expected to complete 10 bond hours over the course of the season. At the beginning of the season, team managers will collect a $100 cheque from each family. All bond cheques/cash will be returned at the end of the season if bond hours are completed. Further details regarding bond hours are available on our website.
